The Simpson Verdict

Tonight, as I watched the reading of the Simpson verdict - guilty on all counts, and watched the silly, simple, stupid look on his face, I thought that any sane black person who was fortunate enough to be acquitted of killing a white woman and white man in America, would never, ever, allow himself to be caught up in another criminal proceeding again.

Clearly OJ is not sane, and maybe should be pitied for his insanity, but I don't even feel any sympathy for him, sane or insane - he's just too stupid for words. In my view, being stupid is far worst than being insane. I have no sympathy for stupid black men, particularly those made stupid by voluntarily consorting with skanky, slutty white women as he loved to do.

Now in prison, he'll have plenty of time to reflect on the blood shed by thousands of black men, who were butchered and lynched for merely being accused of looking or whistling at a white woman. To think that he would ignore this sad history of savagery against black men, and forge ahead anyway, cavorting with these hos' as if no one had died and paid the ultimate sacrifice before him, and thinking he was celebrity enough to get away with it, let him rot in jail whether he is actually guilty of these latest crimes or not.

Clearly, he is at least guilty of allowing himself to be infected with the disease of wanting a white woman, and given the history of this country, that in my view, is reason enough to be involuntarily quarantined and thrown under the jailhouse forever.

Also, it's no accident that thirteen years later to the day, he was convicted after his prior acquittal in 'the murder trial of the century'. "What the man giveth, can always be taken away" has never been truer. You got played OJ...

...good riddance!....

Innocent? - So What!

Tonight on '60 Minutes' there was the incredible but believable story, about a black Chicagoan who was falsely arrested, convicted, and imprisoned for the past 26 years, for a crime that he did not commit.

The incredible part is, that there were two lawyers representing a defendant in another case, who knew he was innocent because their own client confessed privately to them to the crime for which this other man was falsely accused of.

Instead of promptly notifying the authorities who were about to try the innocent defendant, they kept the secret on the specious premise that what their client told them was confidential and privileged. So they let him be tried, convicted and jailed without saying a word in his defense.

What jumps out at me, is that the innocent defendant, had the misfortune to be born black in a racist society with a racist criminal justice system, as was the guilty defendant. In this system, they don't care much about which black defendant is guilty or innocent, so long as they have black defendants who they can convict and imprison. So they kept the secret of his innocence, and in so doing, obtained the convictions of two black men, one very guilty and one very innocent.

There is no doubt in my mind that had the innocent defendant been white, they would have under no circumstance, let him be tried, and certainly not convicted nor jailed. No excuse of privileged information or anything else would have prevented them from doing the right thing, and freeing an innocent white man.

But this system was never designed for justice for black men. Any justice accorded is due to the herculean efforts of dedicated lawyers like those of the Innocence Project, who have worked mightily to free the many mostly black prisoners, who are innocent and have been unjustly convicted and imprisoned. In most cases they have had to waste away for years until the science of DNA matching, caught up with the system.

In this case, DNA was not a factor, but it might just as well have been, since they waited 26 years until the guilty defendant finally died, while jailed for another crime. So now they are belatedly stepping forward to clear the innocent black man they cavalierly let rot in jail all these years. Thanks a lot!

I believe that there is a hell, and these two lawyers along with the guilty party, will have a special place there in the next life. The sad thing is that this is just one of hundreds, maybe thousands of examples of innocent convictions, jailings and probably even executions, that have been perpetrated against the powerless and less fortunate by the justice system.

When will 'justice for all in the land of the free and the home of the brave', finally be a reality for everyone, rather than just for some?

"....If I Did It....."

There is no question that O.J. Simpson is not the brightest light in the night, nor the sharpest knife in the drawer (no pun intended). His myriad gaffes ranging from leaving his wife and children for a blond bimbo teenager, his wasting of his millions in supporting her and her extended family, his opening up of his home to assorted strangers, hangers- ons, and neer-do-wells like Kato Kaelin, his ill-advised Bronco chase after his wife's murder, and even after his narrowly escaping the gas chamber for her murder, his continuing to have a succession of more white bimbos in his life in his Floridian exile.

You would think that he could not possibly shoot himself in the foot any worst than he already has - until he wrote this book "..If I Did It...", a so-called fictional account of how he would have done the killings if he were guilty. This is when I thought - hey wait a minute! - this guy can't be this stupid! Why write something that most people will surely believe is his true confession rather than a mere fictional account?

Then it occurred to me - maybe OJ is not as stupid as he seems, but is really as sly as a fox!

Why do I say this? Because he had to know that the greedy Fred Goldman was seeking to grab every bit of income he could receive in order to satisfy the wrongful death judgment levied against him in California. So writing a book (and getting a sizeable advance that he probably has already spent or hidden) with a provocative title that had the likelihood of being a notorious best seller through clever marketing on the tv and talk-show circuits, and having the revenues grabbed by Goldman and the Browns to satisfy the judgment, would be an ideal and easy way to satisfy the judgment without any personal cost to himself - particularly if he really did it! And wouldn't you know it, from the reported pre-orders for the book, it now appears that it will be a runaway best seller when it is finally released!
(Of course, I definitely will not be contributing to the enrichment of the tacky and tasteless Goldmans and Browns on the backs of their murdered loved ones)
If this makes as much sense to you as it does to me, we might have to say that old OJ may have pulled another one out of his bag of tricks, and just freed himself from some heavy, unwanted financial pressures - maybe he gets the last laugh after all!

Dogged Justice

So Michael Vick pleaded guilty today and has become a felon. He is guilty of extreme cruelty to animals, and as a dog lover, I am saddened by his lack of judgment that brought him to this point.

He stood at the podium and made the obligatory, contrite, mea culpa that he was expected to make. Many of his tormentors however, are saying that they refuse to accept his apologies no matter what he says, and that's an indicator of how deep their racist antipathies go. They are also predicting that he will never play again, because his sins are too horrible to be forgiven by them.

Unlike most of white America who is dancing with glee at his personal and financial predicament and his fall from grace, I am predicting that he will return to the NFL and play even better than he has so far. I also note that what he did, is MINOR compared to the cruelty of racist whites towards thousands of blacks who have been tortured and lynched in this country, without even an indictment, a prosecution or a conviction of the perpetrators. These are the real crimes that those piling on Vick should be exercised about, yet I see no demonstrations, no denunciations, no calls for castrations or electrocutions of the perpetrators, many of whom are still alive and walking around.

Am I playing the race card? If I am, so what! Virtually everything concerning blacks in America is about race. This case is just one of hundreds that exposes the hypocrisy of many in America who lie about it not being about race. They lie so glibly and facilely, while ignoring and saying nothing about the $2 billion dog racing business operated by whites, who also yearly brutalize and kill thousands of dogs who have underperformed and become expendable.

8/29 news update: Leona Helmsley just left a $12 million trust fund to care for her dog, named Trouble. For 2 of her 4 grandchildren she left $5 million each, for 2 others, she left nothing! This sick billionaire, loved her dog more than her own flesh and blood. Had she been a slaveowner, she certainly would have treated her dogs better than her slaves. And had she lived, no doubt she would have been among those calling for Vick to be electrocuted for his cruelty to dogs. This underscores the scope of the dementia so pervasive in the insane minds of the American public which dares to judge Vick so harshly.

As many have done before him, Vick will rise from the ashes of his crucifixion and hopefully go on to a productive life. Meanwhile, America remains wallowing in the cesspool of its failed, hypocritical justice system, which is scorned and universally held in contempt by the international community.

The Con of 'Black-On-Black' Crime

This is the oft-repeated phrase that burns the burrs off my saddle. It's another racist con that is designed to stigmatize the black victim, the black criminal and black communities throughout America. It suggests that Blacks are peculiarly prone to turn violently on themselves and others, because of some special genetic defect not shared by other races.

The truth is, most criminals overwhelmingly victimize those that are physically closest to them, whether in families, in neighborhoods, in cities, or in countries. Yet, in spite of the criminality found in many Italian/Irish neighborhoods replete with mafia-type organized crime violence, or in Asian gang-infested neighborhoods, no one ever talks about white-on-white crime or Asian-on-Asian crime - why not?

It's because the conversation is framed and controlled by those with an agenda, who wish to blame the ills of our society on blacks, who themselves have been victimized and marginalized by the majority group since day one. The term is also used by racists to taint any compassion for, and understanding of, the poverty-stricken plight of many blacks in America, and as justification for cutting back or eliminating social services that would benefit them.

Crime is color-blind. But what isn't color-blind, is the process that is used to determine which criminals are to be charged, convicted, and punished, and for which crimes - that's the biggest con of all!

The June 12th Celebrity Crime

This date is the 13th anniversary of the horrific deaths of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. This crime captured the attention of the nation more than any other has before, or since. Memories do fade, but this is what I remember about it:

The savage and over-the-top brutality, pointed to a professional hit by at least 2 persons - not by a single aging sports celebrity like O.J. Simpson.

The medical examiner, Dr. Golden who did the autopsies, testified at the preliminary hearing, of finding evidences that two different knives were used to commit the crimes. Because this finding did not support the prosecution's theory of O.J. Simpson as the lone killer who killed both victims, he was never heard from again at the trial.

Nicole's mother told a reporter on the day after the slayings, that she last talked to her daughter shortly after 11 pm on the previous (Sunday) evening, upon returning to her home in Dana Point, almost 2 hours from Westwood. If this was true, Simpson could not have done it, because he was in his limo on the way to the airport at the same time. Of course, this was never brought up again, since the prosecution theorized that the crime was committed between 10:15 pm and 10:35 pm.

The police were motivated to quickly solve this high profile crime, and it appears that they 'helped' the evidence along to implicate Simpson who they believed to be guilty. This plot was led by the racist cop Mark Fuhrman, who was not part of the elite investigating team, but inserted himself into the investigation using his knowledge of the Simpsons and their neighborhood. What they didn't count on, was that Simpson would launch his own spirited defense with able and experienced defenders, and challenge all the purported findings of their shoddy investigation.

It strains credibility, that Simpson would be smart enough to get rid of the weapon, bloody clothes etc., but dumb enough to leave one glove at the scene and take the other to his home, and then throw it behind his house. Of course, there, it was conveniently 'found' by none other than Mark Fuhrman - what a coincidence!

The prosecution's star witness, Mark Fuhrman, perjured himself on the stand, and lost all credibility that anything he did or said, was true. He was a major hole in the prosecution's attempt to get a conviction, and he sunk the prosecution's case lower than the sinking of the Titanic. This and other missteps, revealed a team of incompetent prosecutors, who were outsmarted and outmaneuvered by one of the best criminal defense teams, ever! But they still blamed the jury instead of themselves for Simpson's acquittal.

It's more plausible that Simpson contracted with professional killers to do the killings. Had the prosecution pursued this more likely scenario, they perhaps would have obtained a conviction. Instead they pursued a course that attempted to play up the stereotype of the savage, animistic, murderous Black man, who had a history of spousal abuse, and was therefore probably guilty of these horrific crimes. Their case was full of lies and contradictions, and in the end, resulted in Simpson being acquitted.

As of this moment, Simpson is still being hounded for a civil judgement obtained in a subsequent star-chamber preceding before an all-white jury, in a Santa Monica, Ca. courtroom. Simpson was always more comfortable with white folks as friends, lovers, benefactors and associates, now he has to endure the flip-flop of their despising and hatred of him, for the rest of his life.

I can't say I have much sympathy for him.

White-on-White Crime?

Statistically, 86% of all Whites murdered, are murdered by other Whites. The percentages are roughly the same or higher for Asian-on-Asian, Latino-on-Latino, and Black-on-Black murders.

It's clear that the vast majority of crimes committed, are by members of the same ethnic group against other members of that group. Yet, we rarely, if ever, hear about White-on-White, Asian-on-Asian, or Latino-on-Latino crime, and certainly not with the same frequency, or level of scorn and derision, as when Black-on-Black crime is discussed. It is discussed as if, only Blacks have some special defect, mental deformity, or social or moral impairment, that drives their crime rates upward and against themselves.

The term, Black-on-Black crime, is a Rethugnant talking point, said with enough frequency and vehemence to demonize Blacks, and to instill in the minds of the public, further disrespect and ill-will towards it's Black citizens. Even Blacks have unthinkingly started using this phrase, as if it were an isolated fact unique only to Blacks.

In fact, in the Black community, there is a direct statistical correlation between high poverty rates, high unemployment rates, and crime. Significantly lowering either or both of the former, will have a direct impact on the latter.

Since poverty rates and unemployment rates are quite a bit lower in the other ethnic communities, while educational rates are significantly higher, what then could be the basis for their crime rates? hmmmmm.
